HCImage uses System Profiles to control hardware configuration and file management. All peripheral hardware devices are added and setup through the System Profile. Create separate profiles to match specific applications for control and increased efficiency. One profile is used as the default and loads automatically when the application is started. Select Manage Profiles in the File menu to configure, save and load System Profiles. Select Current Profile in the File menu to modify the current settings in effect. You may also select Manage Profiles in the File menu and click Properties to access these settings.
The Profile Management Menu enables new profiles to be added, removed, copied and modified, see "Manage Profiles."
Set the default path, file names and file types to be loaded on application start-up for a profile. The Default File Paths are profile specific so the default location to save data may be different for other profiles, see "File Paths."
Add and setup peripheral hardware devices to the profile. Supported hardware devices include: cameras, stages, filters, shutters, I/O and microscope devices, see "Device Control."
