Important Concepts

• The Time parameters for End Time, Delays and Duration are entered as a numerical value followed by units. (e.g. 5 seconds = 5s)
• Hours = h
• Minutes = t
• Seconds = s
• Milliseconds = m
• Microseconds = u
• Calibration is Very Important!! Prior to adding XYZ Scan locations, load the correct spatial scale factor and calibrate the stage. For more information about calibration see "Spatial Calibration."
• Acquisition Setup is crucial depending on how you want to analyze the data. One example, the data collected from an XYZ Scan could be organized by position, a scan pass, or into a single file, either way the decision has to be made before a scan is started.
• MPTIFF files have a 65,000 image limit and 4 GB size limit. For image sequences having more than 65,000 images or larger than 4 GB, multiple MPTIFF files will be saved and numbered sequentially.
